What I Was Reminded of on the Golf Course⛳

A life lesson showed up for me this week… on the golf course.

I was playing really well, until I reached that hole. My least favourite one that edges the water. Because every time I’ve tried to cross it, the ball goes straight in. So I played it safe. Too safe. I got so focused on not going in the water that I ended up way left… not where I wanted to be.

I realized in that moment that I’ve been showing up to golf hesitating. And it made me wonder: where else in my life am I playing too safe?

So I took a deep breath. And thought: What if? What if I just went for it? What if I could actually do it?

And I did. I had a great shot and cleared the water.

It felt like a sign from the Universe😇 A reminder of how often I’ve played it too safe, forgetting to trust how far I’ve come. Why not take the shot?

So let me ask you this same question: Where in your life have you been playing it too safe?

P.S. On a different note, this week’s Spiritually Wired podcast is a deep and important conversation. It’s a question I get asked often:

How do I hold space for the people I love during challenging times without losing myself in the process?

Whether it’s your partner, your child, a friend – this episode offers perspective, and gentle reminders for those navigating challenging moments while trying to stay grounded.
