Some Loving Kindness for You This Weekđź’«
Here’s your gentle reminder this week:
✨ It starts with you. Always. ✨
When we think of sending love into the world, our instinct is often to think of others first – our family, our friends, the people who need it most. And while that’s beautiful, the truth is:
You can’t give what you don’t allow yourself to receive.
That’s why in metta (loving-kindness) meditation, we always begin by cultivating compassion toward ourselves.
Rooted in ancient Buddhist teachings, metta means unconditional goodwill. It’s said the Buddha taught it as the first meditation – because nurturing compassion is the foundation of everything else.
In this practice, we repeat simple phrases like:
“May I be happy. May I be at peace. May I feel safe.”
It’s a way back to your own heart – where love begins and naturally expands.
If you’d like to experience it for yourself, this week’s Spiritually Wired podcast is a guided metta meditation (one of my favourites) – just 10 minutes to come back to yourself and send love into the world:

Remember to breathe, and trust that you are spiritually wired for your dreams – they’re already waiting for you.
Sending much love your way,
