What Scares Me Most Right Now…
Even though I usually try to keep things light and positive, I have to admit – the energy lately has just felt heavy. So I have a different kind of message to share today.
What scares me most right now is not the unknown, not change, not even failure. What scares me is how we’ve lost our willingness – and maybe even our capacity, to have healthy dialogue. To disagree without tearing each other down. To hold space for different views without closing our hearts.
It’s becoming harder to speak up these days – afraid to be cancelled, to be judged. And that fear leaves much of the conversation led by the extreme voices, the loudest ones in the room. When the rest of us stay quiet, what gets amplified is not balance, but polarization.
Yet living from a place of health, wholeness, and alignment requires something different. It requires us to be open. To remain curious. To pause before reacting. To remember that difference is not a threat – it’s the very thing that helps us grow.
Spirituality, at its core, is about expansion. And expansion can’t happen if we close down. True change comes when we lean in, when we listen, when we allow ourselves to consider perspectives outside of our own.
So today, my invitation is simple: notice when you feel that tightening, that urge to shut out or push against. And instead, see if you can soften. Listen. Stay open.
