I absolutely love this quote as it fully embodies the sentiment of this holiday season. We are remembering fondly experiences of past holidays spent with friends & family, cultivating courage & acceptance for this moment so that we can continue to stay hopeful for the year to come♥️
Since many of us are avoiding going out as much as possible, here a few ideas for last minute meaningful gifts for others or for yourself. Bonus – none of them require shipping!
✨The gift of meditation – A subscription to a meditation app such as Calm, Headspace or Insight Timer is a great gift for anyone who is curious about meditation or is a little stressed out these days (aren’t we all!). I like all 3 of these apps. However, I personally use Calm as I love the meditations – plus they have great bedtime stories for those who struggle falling asleep.
✨The gift of music – I love my Spotify membership and think it’s a fabulous idea for anyone who loves music. Many people use the free version which has regular commercial interruptions and quite a few limitations. The paid version is definitely worth the money! I love to create yoga playlists for students who enjoy listening to them during class – you can find them on my account reneewalkeryoga!
✨The gift of memories – Storyworth is a great idea for someone special in your life. The recipient receives a question prompt every week to answer and receives a beautiful bound book at the end of the year with the compilation of thoughts & advice shared. You can print additional copies to keep or gift as a keepsake. A dear friend of mine gifted this to her mom and has cherished the final product ever since. I’ve purchased this one personally for someone in my life this year… shhhhh!
✨The gift of experience – Even though we can’t be together physically at this time, there are great virtual events happening such as fun educational workshops, cooking classes, chocolate & wine tastings, concerts and many shows. A gift of shared experience is always appreciated!
✨The gift of wellness – Is there any better gift than one that is all about feeling your very best? Cue – shameless plug🤩. I’ve got you covered from yoga, meditation, individual coaching & transformative group programs – it’s like a virtual spa for the mind, body & spirit. The Sacred Wellness Circle program or a monthly membership might just be the perfect gift to give yourself or someone dear to you this year!
And that is a wrap! I hope these gift ideas are helpful to you! Wishing you the very best this Holiday Season has to offer🎄.
Sending love & gratitude to you. May you find ways to nourish your spirit during the Holidays.
