Top Tip for the Perfect Summer Body

Gotcha! I’m sure you saw this coming… Here is the only tip for having the perfect summer body –

Love, accept and cherish your body exactly as it is in this moment and for all that it has done for you leading to this moment – and also for all it will continue to do for you as you experience LIFE.

I recently gained a bit of weight and boy did it trigger me! Insecurities, fears, shame… it was quite fascinating to witness the old programming resurfacing. My initial reaction was to start a strict health program and to be honest, I’ve learned that there are times in my life when it serves me to do a health reset. I’m all for eating healthy and physical exercise to feel your best both mentally & physically. Yet as I meditated & reflected on it more, I knew the real intention behind a strict program this time was simply to lose weight for external appearance. I am active and eat healthy. This decision wasn’t coming from love but a place of fear.

If we have learned anything over the past year, it’s that life is precious. Is it about time that we let go of our ridiculous body ideals? Can we finally stop comparing our bodies to what they looked like 20 years ago and just love & accept every pound, stretch mark, dimple and pimple we have?

I teach that meditation is about becoming your own friend – friends with your thoughts and the moment.
