Recently I Found Myself Slipping Back Into An Old Pattern Of All Or Nothing.

As a mindset teacher, you’d think I’d have everything figured out when it comes to balance, right? Well, recently I found myself slipping back into an old pattern of all or nothing.

It happened while I was working on a corporate training session with my friend and colleague, Brenda Jasmin. I fell into my familiar zone of focus – putting everything else on hold until the project was complete. Don’t get me wrong, I love going all in on my work. I thrive on that level of dedication, but I’ve also realized over the years that it doesn’t serve my well-being.

The good news is that in the midst of the project, I had a moment of clarity. I became aware that I was once again sacrificing my own balance and well-being. And, I remembered that I was no longer that person. This version of me values my energy and self-care above all else. She knows that when I take care of myself, I show up more aligned in every aspect of my life.

So, I paused and made a different decision. I prioritized going to the gym, made sure to go for my walks, had healthy meals, and trusted that everything would work out. And guess what? It did. That corporate client got the best version of me – because I showed up with energy, clarity, and calm.

Healing our mindset happens one moment at a time – by making conscious choices to support ourselves, even in small ways. It’s never a quick fix or an overnight transformation. Each time we choose to prioritize our well-being, we’re rewiring old patterns and stepping into a higher version of ourselves. Real growth happens in those small, mindful decisions that align with who we want to be.

Speaking of well-being, Brenda and I are also flowing right into planning our Align & Design Soul Retreat, the perfect space for you to reconnect and step back into your own zone of calm. We can’t wait to share this transformative experience with you!

Stay calm & healthy my friend. And as always, remember to slow down and breathe…
