You May Already Have The Answer…✨

Have you heard the story of the man stranded in a flood, praying for God to save him? He’s clinging to the roof of his house as the waters rise. A rowboat comes by, then a motorboat, and finally a helicopter. Each time, he waves them off saying: “No, God will save me.”

Spoiler alert: he doesn’t make it. When he meets God – he asks: “Why didn’t you save me?” God replies: “I sent you a rowboat, a motorboat, and a helicopter. What more were you waiting for?”

It’s a classic tale, but it holds a deep truth: surrendering doesn’t mean sitting back and waiting for a lightning bolt of clarity. It’s about trusting that the answers, the opportunities, and the guidance will come – just maybe not in the way you expected.

Surrender is not about giving up; it’s about letting go of control. It’s about softening the grip we have on how things “should” unfold and making space for the unexpected gifts that life offers. It’s about recognizing the rowboats and helicopters in our lives and being open to saying “yes.”

If you’ve been waiting for a sign, take this as your gentle nudge: what if the help you’ve been praying for is already here? What if the breakthrough, the opportunity, or the guidance is waiting for you to trust it, even if it looks different than you imagined?

As we move into this reflective season, I invite you to take a moment to pause and ask yourself:
– Where am I gripping too tightly to a specific outcome?
– What could I let go of to allow something more aligned?
– What opportunities might I be overlooking?

Trust is a practice, and surrender is the doorway. When you let go of the need to control every detail, life has a way of surprising you with exactly what you need – even if it’s not what you thought you wanted.

In my latest Spiritually Wired Podcast episode, I dive into the power of surrender with my very first life coach & friend, Lisa Garber. It’s such a meaningful conversation – you won’t want to miss it! (Fun fact: She used to attend Louise Hay’s events back when they were held in a church basement with just two other people. How amazing is that?)

Remember to slow down, breathe, and trust that you are spiritually wired for your dreams – they’re already waiting for you.
