Spirituality vs. Woo-Woođ«
So I got fired up this week. đ„
I heard someone describe a deeply spiritual person as being into oracle cards and crystals and my gut reaction? Immediate resistance. It wasnât even said in a judgmental way, but I felt it in my body.Â
And if youâve been hanging out with me for a while, you know I believe that any time something triggers us, it’s an invitation to look inward. So, I sat with it.
While I love those tools, I know spirituality is so much deeper than that.
For so long, I feared being judged for my spirituality. I spent years keeping it quiet, afraid of being seen as too “out there.” And hereâs what it comes down to:
âïžÂ Spirituality isnât just rituals and toolsâitâs a way of being.
âïžÂ Itâs ancient wisdom, not a modern trend.
âïžÂ Itâs deeply personalâsomething only you can define.
For me, spirituality is about a connection to a higher powerâa universal consciousness that is omnipresent. True spirituality is about depth, discernment, and personal evolution.
Your spiritual path is yours to define.Â
It doesnât have to look like anyone elseâs. It doesnât have to be validated by a book, a teacher, or a trend. You are allowed to trust what feels true to you.
So, hereâs my invitation to you today:Â sit with your own definition of spirituality.Â
What does it mean to YOU?
I dive into all of this (and yes, I got a little fired up đ) in this weekâs Spiritually Wired episode.Â
