The Real Cost of Avoidance
(it adds up)
I did something pretty iconic this week. I was featured in ICONIC Magazine… and while that in itself feels really special, what stayed with me most wasn’t actually the feature. It was the message I shared inside it – and even more, what shifted for me through the experience.
There’s this idea that what we want is somewhere out there… something we have to strive for, push toward, or become in order to receive. Yet the spiritual work – true spirituality, isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about remembering.
That was the biggest shift for me in my meditation practice. When I finally understood this, it stopped being about trying to find something, fix something, or get somewhere… and became a practice of coming back. Of softening. Of allowing. Of letting more of who I already am express itself.
I could finally stop looking outside for answers… and start connecting within.
Being part of this shoot reflected that back to me in a way I didn’t expect. It wasn’t about becoming “that version” of me – it was about recognizing that she was already here.
I’ll share more of the behind the scenes next week, because something really interesting happened for me internally through the process. For now, you can download a digital copy of the magazine below, where I share my article Why The Key to What You Want Is Closer Than You Think.
Interestingly, this same theme came up in this week’s podcast.
We explored sales in a different way – shifting from pushing or proving into connection and service. My conversation with Jillian Murphy is a beautiful reminder that in business, just like in life, you don’t have to force what’s meant for you… you just have to be available for it.

Remember to breathe, and trust that you are spiritually wired for your dreams -they’re already waiting for you.
Sending much love your way.
