I Used to Judge This About Myself…
I’ve been going deeper into my astrology birth chart lately. Not from a surface level perspective of predicting the future, but from a place of understanding myself more deeply.
Turns out it’s way more than the sun sign most people think of. But even at that level, for most of my life, I thought of my Libra tendencies from a place of judgment.
Gets along with everyone, yes. But mostly because I avoid conflict, can be indecisive… and am generally too concerned with keeping the peace.
Then I was offered a completely different perspective.
This part of me exists because I can walk into a room and immediately feel the energy. What if that’s actually a gift? What if my desire for harmony comes from being deeply attuned to the people and energy around me?
That simple shift changed something in me.
Because I wonder how often we do this to ourselves. We take a part of who we are and turn it into a problem to fix. Our sensitivity. Our emotions. Our need for quiet. Our big feelings. Our desire for meaning.
What if there’s another way to look at it? The more I understand myself, the less I judge myself. And the less I judge myself, the more alive I feel.
Oh – and it turns out Libra is just a very small part of the chart. If you haven’t gone deep into yours yet, I highly recommend it. Reply to this and I’ll connect you.
I share more of this and all the recent behind-the-scenes of my life, on the latest solo episode of the podcast. It’s a free flow one and pretty personal. Come listen.
It also connects to something a recent guest said that I keep coming back to. When I asked her how she grounds her energy, she said she doesn’t think of it as grounding at all. She thinks of it as being alive.
That resonated deeply.
Because aliveness is about being fully present in your body and in the present moment. Coming home to ourselves. Understanding ourselves more deeply. Accepting the parts we’ve been fighting against. Feeling safe enough to be fully here – in our bodies, our hearts, our lives.
This summer inside Spiritually Wired, that’s exactly where we’re going.
We’re slowing down. Revisiting the lessons from this past year. Creating open space for real conversation and connection. And we’re bringing in a writing challenge – because I’ve been recommitted to my morning pages for a while now and the shift in clarity has been incredible. Writing gets the noise out and lets you hear yourself again. It’s one of those practices that sounds simple and changes everything.
If you’re craving deeper connection, meaningful conversations, and a space to simply be yourself… we would love to welcome you inside.
[Yes, I want in]
Here’s to a summer of feeling more alive.
Remember to breathe, and trust that you are spiritually wired for your dreams – they’re already waiting for you.
