What It Means to Let Go + Special Offerđ«
A student asked a really powerful question during our coaching hour last week, and itâs been sitting with me ever since.
We were talking about how stepping into the new version of ourselves often means letting go of old stories. And she asked:
âIf we believe that everything happens for a reason – and that we choose the circumstances weâre born into to support our soulâs growth – then why do we try to let go of those stories? Shouldnât we be grateful for them? Is it wrong to release them?â
I love these conversations inside the Spiritually Wired Membership. This is where the real work happens – not just in whatâs taught, but in the brave questions that get asked.
Hereâs what I shared with her:
From a neuro-linguistic perspective, letting go of a story doesnât mean erasing the past or pretending it didnât matter. It means loosening the emotional charge around it.
It means looking back without the resistance. Without the grip. With neutrality. Because when thereâs a strong emotional charge, it means the story still holds the power.
And while itâs true that every experience weâve had has shaped us – good or painful – it doesnât mean those stories are meant to define us forever. You can hold gratitude for what shaped you and release what no longer serves who you are today.
Letting go isnât about forgetting your past. And in some cases, it certainly isnât about pretending what happened was okay. Letting go is about honouring who you’re becoming.Â
Thatâs the power of mindset work:Â You get to write a story that serves who you are today and who youâre growing into.
The mindset work? Thatâs exactly what we practice inside the Spiritually Wired Membership.
Right now, Iâm working on the fall curriculum – and itâs going to be powerful. Weâre going even deeper into identity work, energy, and embodiment⊠This is your space to explore, to rewire, to connect, to manifest and to become the next version of you.
