Manufactured VS Surrendered Manifesting + More

There’s a lot of buzz about manifesting these days, and I’m so here for it. Yet, the word itself can lead to confusion at times, which brings me to one of my favourite conversations on the High Vibes with Binu podcast. Binu asked me a question that really got to the heart of manifesting:

What’s the difference between manufactured manifesting and surrendered manifesting?

Let’s just say it got me fired up! Here’s a snippet of what we discussed:

Manufactured manifesting comes from the ego. It’s rooted in external pressures, shoulds, and the need to control outcomes. This kind of manifesting often feels forced, heavy, and exhausting.

Surrendered manifesting, on the other hand – comes from a place of co-creation. It’s about honouring your inner desires while letting go of the need to control how they unfold. You take inspired action, follow intuitive nudges, and trust that the Universe is working for you. The magic of surrendered manifesting is all in the process – it’s more about who you’re becoming than the end goal itself.
