What Does “Being In Alignment” Actually Mean?

by | Aug 2, 2026

There are so many buzzwords in the spiritual and personal development world that we all kind of nod our heads at. Alignment, embodiment, surrender… we hear these words so often that we assume we know what they mean. But do we actually?

That question came up recently during a class inside the Spiritually Wired Membership when we were talking about alignment. And this is where I love using the chakra system as a practical tool. Instead of thinking about the chakras as something abstract, we can use each one almost like a checkpoint to notice what’s happening within us.

Do I feel grounded and safe? Am I connected to my creativity and desires? Am I standing in my personal power? Is my heart open? Am I expressing what’s true for me? Am I trusting my intuition? Do I feel connected to something greater than myself?

When you look at it this way, alignment becomes a little easier to understand. It doesn’t mean everything in your life is perfect or that you’re always calm. It’s really about connection and noticing where that connection may have been disrupted.

The chakras give us a way to notice where something may be a bit off. And I think that’s what alignment really is. It’s not a final destination but more of an ongoing practice of noticing when that’s happened and coming back.

I took this conversation to the podcast this week. It’s a quick one, but it packs a punch. I walk through each of the seven chakras as a practical checkpoint for alignment.

And before I go, my friend Binu and I have been creating something very special behind the scenes that we officially shared this week.

⭐️ ManifestHER VIP Day is here.

I’ll be sharing more with you about it soon, but if you have a goal or desire on your heart, you might want to take a peek now.

Remember to breathe, and trust that you are spiritually wired for your dreams – they’re already waiting for you.

Sending much love your way.
